Cross Stitch French Knot Video
How can you make a French knot embroidery in cross stitch plastic canvas?
please do not direct me to a YouTube video, unless you think it's a very good one. I need some very specific directions that I can not understand how this node and I need it for some projects I'm working on. Thank you very much:) I used the search engines … and I watched videos on YouTube without success.
I'll try to explain. Insert the needle into the fabric and take back a minimum distance. But do not take the needle completely – and yet the middle part still under the fabric. then wrap the floss around the needle tip before the needle 3 times [to make] node. Now gently pull the needle through by keeping a coiled wire with your other hand / finger. make sure the needle out of the canvas, pulling the rest of the thread and needle "press / set" the "knot". Now, just insert the needle in the tissue very near the node that you just made, so as to keep the knot in place. withdraw the needle at the new space / position & Tie a knot so.
